The Peacock plant has many names like rattlesnake plant, cathedra windows, or zebra plant.

It is native eastern brazil. The weird scientific name for a peacock plant is Calathea Makoyana. It looks beautiful in the light, like a glowing star with its green and reddish leaves. It's a beautiful tropical house plant.


Size


The peacock plant is 66.96 cm tall. Its leaves are 25.4 cm long. Each leaf is about 8-10 cm long.


Environment


The peacock plant environment is around 15-24 Celsius to keep its Gorgeous leaves in their beautiful color, and it also doesn't mind it being so moist, and you can put it outside if it's around that degree.

Care


Watering: A calathea mayoca needs to be damp, but if you water it too much, it could die, it doesn't mind a lot of water, but it has problems with public water, so rainwater is the best.Sunlight: It doesn't like direct sunlight, and its favorite is bright areas next to a window.
